Through the wonder of
the Internet I have been able to find all kinds of programs and
resources to aid me in my stargazing. Some of them make great
teaching aids to introduce our newcomers to Astronomy. Below are
some links to just a few of those sites.
There are so many others
also available and they can be easily found using Google or
other web search engines. Space prevents me from including them
all here.
As you get the opportunity to
look through a telescope—perhaps for the first time—remember that those very earliest
astronomers had access to only the most basic viewing instrument of all—their
eyes.
